Charity bike ride challenge information

Urgent action is needed now to counteract the climate crisis.

Thank you for taking part, your fundraising donation will go directly towards cleaning up our oceans and to combatting the problem at the source to safeguard the future of our planet.

Take on the Enviro Cycle Challenge in London

When:

27th September, 7am–7pm

Where:

A round trip from Richmond Athletic Association to Surrey and back

Route length:

All abilities welcome and challenge yourself to cycle either 20km (12.4 miles), 40km (24.8 miles), 80km (49.7 miles) ,120km (74.5 miles)

Minimum fundraising target:

All that we ask is, that you pay £50 to book your place. Tickets are limited to 500 people so book your ticket now so you don’t miss out.

Please raise a minimum of £145 by 31st August and donate to our climate crisis charities via the donate button below quoting your ticket reference.

A special prize will go to the individual who raises the most amount for our climate crisis charities. The more we raise the bigger the difference we can make to counteract the climate crisis. 100% of the funds you raise will go directly to charity.

On the Day:

Although the bike ride is road only, the route from Richmond to Surrey and back again follows the Thames and offers some beautiful views. All participants will receive at least two lots of food and water and there will be more for those who are doing the longer route.

If you would like to attend the event but not participate in the bike ride, there will be lots going on at the Richmond stadium during and post the cycle challenge. If you are attending and not participating, we would be most grateful if you would please help is to counteract the climate crisis by making a donation.

Post cycle event:

Entertainment, food and drink stalls and information on the work of The Ocean Cleanup and the Awaken Business Sustainability Foundation in Richmond. Families and friends of cyclists are welcome to attend.

All government social distancing regulations applicable at the time of the cycle will be executed.
